A safe and reliable workflow with simultaneous machine availability and work safety is an essential prerequisite when working with binders, such as hot bitumen. We use specially designed couplings (MSV, MSM and SK) for this purpose, which are compatible with all WIRTGEN recyclers. These connecting elements are manufactured in varying diameters and can therefore be matched to the capacity of our WIRTGEN machines as required by the customer. The focus will always be safety and smooth project handling.

Depending on site conditions, different connections on pump and tank trucks may require a different connection from the tank vehicle or suspension mixer to the cold recycler. To ensure constant availability and maximum flexibility also on site, we offer adapter and connector kits which include individual components for self-assembly due to the wide variety of connections.

To operate a WIRTGEN recycler as safely as possible on the site, the fittings of WIRTGEN machines (MSV) must be connected free from leakage. The connection is made with the required MSM coupling to the tank vehicle or binder tank of the suspension mixer. The connections on the WIRTGEN binder systems vary in diameter depending on the size and design of the related WIRTGEN recycler.

Depending on the length and number of the tank trucks, pre-assembled binder hoses are adequate. If the required hose length is not available for the recycler rig concerned, you can order binder hoses by the metre from WIRTGEN as an option as well as matching MSM connection sets for self-assembly. When selecting hoses, you should take both the diameter and the length into account which can vary depending on the recycler type.
